About Gathern:

Gathern is a company developing a peer-to-peer (P2P) vacation rental marketplace. Its solution allows users to rent a villa, apartment, farm, caravan, room, chalet, camp, or yacht, among other options, directly from an individual owner, while the owners have the ability to list their properties for rent through the website and application without having to obtain an individual rental license.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Talent Acquisition and HC Business Partnership Director at Gathern will be responsible for overseeing the talent acquisition function and driving strategic human capital partnerships across the organization. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with Gathern's business objectives.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to identify talent needs, forecast workforce needs, and create recruitment plans.
  • Design and implement effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to attract and retain top talent.

Business Partnership:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand business goals and develop human capital strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on strategic staffing, talent development, and performance management.
  • Partner with colleagues in HR to ensure consistent and effective implementation of HR policies and programs.
  • Identify and address workforce challenges, including talent gaps and organizational design.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the talent acquisition team, providing guidance, professional development, and performance management.
  • Build a strong employer brand and enhance the candidate experience to attract and retain top talent.
  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop a high-performing and inclusive organizational culture.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track recruitment metrics and effectiveness.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on HR-related data to inform decision-making.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition and HR business partnership, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build effective partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic and data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant HR certifications are a plus.
