Collectively, these research programs and initiatives aim to solve near term technical challenges, deliver next generation product advances, and drive long term breakthrough innovation to enable more affordable, reliable, sustainable, and secure energy.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:• Work with industry leading experts to execute data-driven protocol to develop innovative materials and predict material degradation for various power generation applications.• Collaborate with Engineers and Scientists from across the Vernova Advanced Research Center and business segments, to advance the energy transition.Required Qualifications:• Current enrollment in a full-time Ph.D. degree program in Materials Science, or related discipline• Knowledge in pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, pymatgen• Experience with Python programing, Github• U.S. citizenship is required due to Federal Contract Provisions.• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY.• Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale.Desired Characteristics:• Experience with high throughput experiments/computations and/or automatous lab.• Strong dedication to a career in technology and passion for supporting and leading the energy transition.The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly.
