Job Description SummaryAs a Remote Project Manager, you'll own the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Patient Care Solutions products including Monitoring Solutions, Perioperative, and Maternal Infant Care products. This position includes, but is not limited to, sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issues resolution.The position is located in Houston, TX. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesWorking primarily from a GE or home based office location, the Remote Project Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the project installation by:• Acting as the primary liaison between GE and customer project teams with onsite support from Service & Sales.• Identify GE and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract.• Creation, maintenance, and routing of formal project implementation timeline with collaboration between the customer, GE HealthCare, and contract resources.• Maintaining accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable project data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting.• Regular tracking and communication of implementation progress including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure. This includes tracking of equipment delivery, installation, and testing.• Identification, escalation and resolution of issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets.• Lead implementation team during clinical “GoLive” of the equipment.• Participation in process improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications• Bachelors degree and at least 2 years of project management experience, or an Associates degree and at least 5 years of Project Management experience.• Minimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams.Desired Characteristics• Demonstrate experience communicating effectively and facilitate meetings via teleconference or in person with multi-functional groups.• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities to meet scheduled project completion dates and customer expectations.• Demonstrate communicating with diverse work partners internal and external to GE and our customers.• Experience communicating complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner.• Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule; construction, healthcare IT or equipment installations experience preferred.• Demonstrated customer service experience working remotely with external customers in a clinical environment.• Formal coursework in project management and/or current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.• Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry and GEHC products.• Willingness to travel up to 10%, with overnight stays when needed.• Ability to meet customer’s vendor credentialing requirements.We expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors, to act with humility and build trust, lead with transparency, deliver with focus, and drive ownership - always unyielding integrity.Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
