Job Description SummaryThis position has design responsibility to deliver Xray generation customer workflow, feature functionality, product quality, reliability, serviceability and manufacturability. Activities include requirements development, traceability, and flow down, architecture / system design and analysis and developing/executing System Verification.Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities·Providing domain expertise to serve as the main integrator between the hardware and software functions to deliver the best high-quality product·Working across functions and team boundaries to define, design, and implement the next generation of products, defining the technology and product roadmaps, and ensuring program compliance with those roadmaps-Image Quality: conduct medical device (e.g. CT) image quality test and evaluation, imaging algorithms investigation.·Make design recommendations to improve reliability and resolve conflicting requirements.·Implement reliability growth and/or qualification tests to validate predictions.·Perform trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.·Provides mentoring and coaching to develop technical talent·Provides expert guidance and support to the development organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, development, and engineeringQualifications:1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Physics or closely related discipline and 4 years experience in a technical discipline2. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems3. Demonstrated problem-solving techniques4. Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology5. Effective communication skills —ability to present ideas clearly and concisely6 Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, etc)7. Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion8.
