Résumé de la description de posteThe Lead Manufacturing Tooling Specialist is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of production and development tooling throughout the product lifecycle. This role is also responsible for leading the team of technicians and contractors that manufacture the tooling and providing solutions to manufacturing problems related to all process functions throughout the casting lifecycle.Description de l'emploiRoles and Responsibilities:• Interprets external drawings and defines tooling design needs• Interfaces with customer models in NX environment and generates tool designs including fixtures, molds, and dies for various manufacturing operations• Develops a schedule and prioritizes work based on customer needs and shop prioritization• Guides and leads others in adjacent functions in order to achieve deliverables• Provides feedback to designers on producibility and ease of fabrication of tooling components• Establishes work scope and directs others to execute on it• Provides informal guidance to new team membersRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of hands on relevant working experience.• Minimum of 3 years of shop floor manufacturing experience or fabrication/tool and dye experienceDesired Characteristics:• Project management experience• Experience with multiple machining and fabrication modalities.• Experience generating and manipulating 3D models using CAD (eg SolidWorks, Catia, UG NX preferred)• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T• Experience with CNC Programming (UG NX preferred)• Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​• Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively​• Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​• Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​• Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerHealthcare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; access to a Health Coach, a 24/7 nurse-based resource; and access to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services.
