We are seeking a Project Manager, Web & UI/UX to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico; however, this position has been approved for work in a primarily remote capacity with occasional travel.
Responsibilities
Support and lead projects within our web and UI/UX teams.
Work with staff across all the roles within a web development team.
Collaborate with hybrid and remote staff across time zones and help manage projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
Organize and help track web and UI/UX projects.
Update schedules and forecasts; coordinate across teams.
Work with team leads to define and manage project scope.
Track project status, address issues, assess risks, and recommend solutions.
Use Asana/Jira to track progress and assign tasks.
Schedule and lead meetings such as daily standups and weekly project check-ins, to review and update statuses and delegate tasks.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
Proficient in tools, techniques, and best practices, with experience in planning, and performance measurement for web projects.
Skilled in managing web projects, UI/UX, and SEO-focused projects.
Proactive and transparent communication.
Proficient in Asana/Jira for tracking and task management.
Experienced in defining and managing project scopes.
Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.
Able to manage teams across time zones with flexibility and adaptability.

The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
