As a Linux Systems Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Linux Systems Administrator joining our software development team to manage Linux servers that utilize a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Apache) software architecture.HOW OUR LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:• Create and update Rational Team Concert (development Tracking System) work items• Create and update IssueTrak (ticketing system) tickets for data center support• Managing / troubleshooting servers running on one or more operating systems.• Patch management (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP, Software)• Evaluate STIG/STIG assignments as scheduled (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP, Software)• Monitor Intrusion detection results• Analyze ACAS results• Maintains documentation to support software development / Cyber Security policies, standards and procedures.• Support LCCB, Kanban, and ScrumsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):• Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance (a Secret with a T5 is acceptable)• Required Experience: 6 years of directly related experience in Linux Systems Administration (or 4 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree)• Required Certifications: Current DoD 8570.01 IAT level 1 certification (Security+ CE)• Education: BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science.• Required Technical Skills: Linux, SCAP/STIG, Engineering, Systems Analysis, DoD and DoN IT Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management.
