Sign-on Bonus up to $2,000

Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing various tasks to support the processing and packaging of food. A majority of the time will be spent in a processing environment completing duties assigned by the team leader or department supervisor.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality product for the drying process in the safest manner
• Package dried product
• Some Paperwork is involved
• General Material Handling; cases, pallets, trolleys, totes, etc.
• Use Pallet Jack to transfer product through the facility
• Inspect for Defects
• Packaging Department Assignments
• Other Production Duties as Assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Lifting of up to 50lbs. may be required
• Will work in freezer conditions (-10 deg F) for extended periods of time

Skills and Technical Expertise:

• Ability to operate small machinery
• Ability to read and understand relevant documents
• Driving continuous improvement

Preferred Experience

• General production
• Experience in food manufacturing environment
