General Manager - WFIT

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and Direct, Sales/Underwriting Staff, Membership/Development Staff, Operations Director
  • Authorized agent for National Public Radio
  • Station Representative for the Federal Communications Commission, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Maintain Florida Public Media Membership and collaborate in lobbying for state funding grant
  • Oversee station budget, development and fundraising
  • Liaison with University ensuring adherence with policies and procedures
  • Major funding acquisition; Corporation for Public Broadcasting grants, PTFP/NTIA grants, FPM grants, local and county grant funding, special events, planned giving donations.
  • Liaison with contractual engineer; responsible for FCC compliance, repairs, upgrades and equipment procurement
  • Interface and recruit community volunteers for on-air and technical positions

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
