Job Summary:As a warehouse assistant, you play a significant role in managing the facility's inventory. Your duties include receiving incoming materials, organizing inventory, picking orders, preparing outbound shipments, and operating forklifts. While doing so, you need to maintain quality control standards, follow safety protocols, and keep accurate records of all material movements. Your active participation helps ensure an orderly and efficient warehouse while supporting the company's overall productivity.Responsibilities:• Before driving a forklift, the operator should perform a thorough pre-inspection of the vehicle to detect any possible defects or malfunctions and report them as soon as possible• The efficient use of railcars requires attention to detail, particularly with regards to the opener, hopper, and lids• Focusing on developing a strong work ethic that adheres to established timelines and productivity standards when completing elevator-related tasks• Effective cleaning and maintenance of an area may entail using various cleaning methods, such as sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming to remove debris and dirt from all surfaces in a thorough and meticulous manner• Keeping the unloading area, railcar area, and equipment clean and free of clutter can help prevent accidents, injuries, and even fires• We currently have an opening for a maintenance technician with expertise in primary upkeep duties like changing belts and employing lubrication.
