Full Job Description

A national leader in luxury fitness is looking for amazing talent to join our team. We are seeking a motivated General Manager to lead our studio to success! This position will be based in Owings Mills (Baltimore County).

POSITION:

The General Manager will oversee all studio functionality from MEMBERSHIP SALES to STUDIO OPERATIONS.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of fitness membership sales or relevant STRONG sales experience preferred
  • Confident in generating personal membership sales and supervising Sales Representatives
  • Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required
  • Must have excellent communication and stronginterpersonal skills in person and over the phone
  • Must be solution-based and results-oriented and have a competitive spirit
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and implement changes using good judgement
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Must be willing to appear on studio social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and GET THINGS DONE
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, neat, and organized
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues, clients, and the general public
  • Proficient with computers, apps, and various software including Microsoft and G-Suite
  • This is a full-time position. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability.

DUTIES:

  • Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
  • Implement sales strategies to convert prospects to studio members
  • Implement and maintain strategies to retain members
  • Membership and retail sales
  • Manage staff schedule
  • Hire/mentor/manage/train all sales staff at the studio
  • Collaborate with Operation Coordinator in handling membership freezes, discouraging membership cancellations, collecting back-dues
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  • Strategically implement marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  • Front desk duties
  • Any other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47,500.00 per year
