General Surgeon Employed Opportunity in Winter Haven Florida

BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting a board certified/board eligible General Surgeon to join our growing team based at Winter Haven Hospital. Experience is preferred. Winter Haven, Florida is a growing community conveniently nestled between Tampa and Orlando. This is an opportunity to practice broad general surgery procedures supporting ED, elective and clinic-based services.

The ideal candidate is confident in independent operating skills and comfortable building relationships with community surgeons and referral physicians. Additional skills in endoscopy, laparoscopy, robotics and CRS are a welcome addition but not required.

• Shared 1:5 call at one hospital
• Excellent operating room and resources with a supportive administration
• Modern and well-equipped community hospital with demonstrated volume
• Commencement bonus paid upon employment
• Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are encouraged to apply

Position requires:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery.
• 3 years' post training experience is preferred.
