We are seeking a Senior Manager, Treasury Operations & Risk who combines a meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach. What you will be doing at Generate Capital as the Senior Manager, Treasury Operations and Risk:
- Establish and lead the debt compliance function, overseeing all aspects of debt compliance for the company
- Create and oversee a new compliance program for derivatives, focusing on managing risks associated with interest rates, foreign exchange and commodities
- Collaborate with global team members to enhance delivery of funding, FX management, depository account services and payment execution
- Lead counterparty evaluations, including the tracking of public ratings, pricing analysis, wallet share analysis and scorecard preparation
- Partner on corporate insurance renewals including D&O, Fiduciary Liability, Crime and Cyber coverages
- Administer the execution of daily cash management functions including daily cash reconciliation and positioning, ACH and wire transfer initiation, as well as the execution of payments related to accounts payable
- Enhance and streamline the bank account opening process globally including account management, signatories, and FBAR reporting
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relevant treasury policies and procedures
Candidate qualifications & core characteristics:
- A demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission
- 7+ years’ experience in treasury and risk management preferably with a mid to large, multinational company
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA is preferred
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
- Experience in global debt compliance reporting
- Experience in hedging strategies including interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodities
- Knowledge of credit and capital markets
- Knowledge of global banking platforms and payment systems
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Power Point, Experience with Bloomberg and Treasury Management Systems a plus
- Advance modeling capabilities
- Knowledge of accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Net Suite, and others preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills.

Generate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this range.
