Data Management - Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer - Sr

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management - Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer - Sr. Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in McLean, VA. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities... • Build highly scalable and resilient data pipelines using cutting edge technologies • Partner with various cross-functional teams such as Product, Data Scientists and Compliance • Provide Production support on a rotation basis to monitor the execution of the pipelines and addressing any issues that stem from it Requirements: • 4 to 6 years of professional experience in building data pipelines involving data ingestion through transformations and making them available to downstream applications • 4 to 6 years of work experience in Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Databricks or Hadoop • 2+ years of experience in Scala or Python • 2+ Experience in AWS services - S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, ECS, Fargate • Experience with CI/ CD Desired skills: • Build API for data consumption • Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
