Quality Assurance Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:• Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirementsRequirements:• Mid to senior level Quality Assurance Engineer with strong ETL, Bigdata- Hadoop, SQL testing expertise and a good knowledge of Spark, Unix, Data warehousing, scheduling tools• Comfortable with leading small efforts• Strong experience of data centric projects and data flow/data analysis• Profiling and ETL testing skills• Experience of working in the Big Data ecosystem such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark• Strong data and code analysis skills (troubleshooting data quality/integrity, root causes)• Experience with test automation tool set like TOSCA, Cucumber• Experience working in Agile teams• Good understanding and exposure to continuous Integration model• Desire to contribute to and promote good software testing practices across the team• Experience working in financial domainPay Range: $50.42-$58.42Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!About Genesis10:Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
