UX/Visual Designer III

Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a UX/Visual Designer. This is a 2 month + contract remote but local position located in Mountain View, CA.Summary:Seeking a UX/Visual Designer.Responsibilities:The team needs a technical artist or creative technologist who can drive the ideation, creative direction and implementation of compelling camera effects in our proprietary platform software. This requires a unique skillset of both technical acumen and creative sensibility.Ideate, design, and develop AR/GLSL shaders/effects and 3D assets from start to finish with guidance from Art Directors.Work with UX to refine with a goal towards shipping and collaborate with eng for technical requirements and porting.Work with our creative effect authoring tool to provide feedback on what is / is not working.Requirements:4+ years of relevant work experience as a technical artist.3+ years' experience authoring GLSL shaders.3+ years' experience with 3D modeling (gltf pipelines / generating technical assets).3+ years' experience in one or more of the following software programs: Cinema The Client, Blender, Maya.2+ years' experience with javascript.2+ years' experience with webGL.2+ year experience basic modeling, rigging, animation, and texture and lighting skills (with strong expertise in at least one area) Strong attention to detail and excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills Portfolio with relevant examples of technical and artistic skillsOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.Desired:Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.Published AR/camera effects or filters on a public platform.Experience with typescript.Experience with three.js or other web-based 3D frameworks.degree in a relevant field: animation, video games, computer science.Up to date with contemporary social media trends/culture.Pay rate range:$69.60 - $87.01 hourly.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
