As the Founding Product Manager/Marketing Lead at Genmo, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our AI-powered video creation platform. You will be responsible for building our brand, interfacing with customers to collect requirements, prioritizing and executing product initiatives, creating a strategic roadmap, and leading a viral product launch. The ideal candidate will have a blend of product management and marketing expertise, a passion for AI, and a knack for creating hype and excitement around groundbreaking products.
Develop and implement a comprehensive branding strategy to establish Genmo as a leader in AI-powered video creation.
Interface with customers to gather insights and requirements, ensuring that our product meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Prioritize product features and enhancements, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including marketing campaigns, partnerships, and promotional activities.
Lead a high-impact, viral product launch that generates significant buzz and user adoption.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and AI research, to deliver a high-quality product.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and inform future strategies.
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
5+ years of experience in product management and/or marketing, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
Strong understanding of branding, market positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and measure success.
Proven ability to create and execute strategic roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
Experience working with AI technologies and a passion for their applications in consumer products.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience in the video creation or media industry.
Experience with viral marketing and growth hacking techniques.
Experience working with large generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, GANs, Diffusion models).
Background in UX/UI design and user-centric product development.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Prior involvement in startups or fast-paced environments, demonstrating agility and resilience.
Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, AI).
Past experience in content creation.
