An experienced Software Product Manager to help us envision, define, and manage software products and features on our current and next generation cloud-centric SaaS software platform. The right person for this role will be someone who has been responsible for executing product vision and strategy, defining, and prioritizing the product roadmap and backlog, and for driving product realization and market launch.
You will have product management responsibility for various key software product initiatives including both mobile and web applications on Geoforce’s cloud-based IoT software platform. You will have a great deal of cross-departmental interaction at Geoforce with particularly close interaction with product marketing, development, software architecture, delivery, and key customers. You must love a world where your primary job is Software Product Manager but, when necessary, you are able to drill down and support the software development team as a Product Owner to make backlog priority calls and determine release criteria. You will be responsible for keeping new software initiatives on track and moving forward. Your inward and outward facing roles will require that you are a strong technical product manager and excellent communicator with superb soft skills.

Work closely with cross-functional team to execute on product strategy and achieving company goals
Advocate for end users and stakeholders by empathizing and understanding their needs
Track and analyze metrics that inform the success of product
Manage and evangelize the product roadmap with internal and external stakeholders
Document requirements, goals, and specifications needed to build and launch features
Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to drive adoption and ensure product stickiness

Minimum 5 years of experience as an enterprise software Product Manager, specifically in software-as-a-service.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Business preferred.
Experience in rapidly growing technology-focused companies or startups is highly desired.
Strong understanding of connected vehicle technologies, telematics, and IoT applications in automotive contexts is a plus.
Direct experience in powered-equipment and fleet management solutions is preferred.
Previous roles in startups or rapidly growing tech environments are advantageous.
