Geospatial Project Manager

Your Impact at SAM:

Lead, train and mentor team of six technicians to ensure long-term growth of the LiDAR program
Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple projects
Manage projects from start to finish while ensuring our services meet our clients’ needs and quality
Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and track and report progress to meet project deadlines
Support corporate strategic initiatives

What You Bring to SAM:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Photogrammetry and/or Aerial LiDAR
Experience with GIS and/or CADD software Terra Suite, LP360, LAStools, Qgis & ArcGIS
Must have a minimum of five years' experience with LiDAR calibration, classification and QC of LiDAR deliverables, and USGS 3DEP (United States Geological Survey 3D Elevation Program) deliverables
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication leadership and motivational skills
Ability to meet fixed deadlines and maintain a high degree of focus with minimal supervision
