Data Platform Developer, Machine Learning

Skills

Python 3
Cloud or on-premise machine learning workflow tools
Production-level application containerization
Experience with Ray (preferred)
Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Flink, Ignite, Airflow (preferred)
Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot (preferred)
Knowledge of gRPC, Protobuf, Avro, Beam (preferred)
Data management and storage principles
Batch and streaming data architectures
API design and implementation
Big Data environments like Google BigQuery
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with multitasking capabilities
Strong team player

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain new machine learning platforms managing the data pipelines and machine learning model workflow.
Develop processes to enrich big data with telematics data at scale.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting services for machine learning platform and models.
Work with data scientists to develop infrastructure solutions for data processing needs.
Create and maintain documentation for architecture and processes.
Support internal teams with data integration.

Education

Post-secondary Degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering
