Senior Visual Designer

Giddy is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the sexual health and wellness space. Our flagship product is an ED device called Eddie, which is an FDA Registered Class II medical device. We have three website properties and are currently building the world's first AI search engine for sexual health and wellness information.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Art

• Make illustrations, photo-collage, Photoshop composites, and vector editorial art for the world’s largest sex health website

• You have a keen awareness of trends in design and art, layout and UX

Design Detail

• You have a mastery of typography, color theory, layout, composition, balance, and hierarchy

• Your designs will be used across social channels, websites, advertisements, television ads, print collateral, and much more

Advertising

• Work from sets of photography and copy and a set of sizes and parameters to make comprehensive, cohesive ad campaigns

• You’re familiar with the world of ads: banner ads, display ads, promoted social ads. Design directly affects the success of advertising

Know the Brand

• You’ll study our brand book and be able to discern when something is and isn’t “on brand”

• Work closely with UX Designers, creative leads, video producers, marketing departments, and company leadership for tasks.

• From a conversation or meeting, you can pull out specific action-items

• Over-communication is your general philosophy

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years as a visual designer, in-house or agency

• BA or higher education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Architecture, UX Design, or similar

• Art direction/shot-styling experience a plus

SKILLS:

• Mastery of ideas, from sketch to pixel-perfect delivery

• Expert familiarity with Adobe CC

• Experience with Figma

• Experience with project management tools (such as Asana)

• Communication, collaboration, and time management are must-haves.
