About The Role
In the product team, it's our job to create products that have never existed before, improve experiences that have and overall provide the best outcome for our customers and partners, regardless of which direction we take.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and help us grow faster and go further than we can alone. We’re looking for a Product Manager that understands why experience matters, why the product isn’t finished at the day it's released and that data matters.
This role will have you focusing on our brand experience and truly owning the brand product, from sign up through to scale, you’ll be obsessed with our customers and what they need to succeed online.
What You’ll Do: - Work closely with our engineering team, designers and other product managers.
- Ideate and build product strategies to fruition, execute a build, test and launch plan alongside key stakeholders.
- Define the correct execution strategy, build epics and groom the stories with the engineering team.
- Own the project from start to finish, working with your assigned engineering, QA and design resources.
- Bring data, experience, gut feeling and conviction to your product proposals to help prove why the product should be built and how it helps our customers.
- Contribute to team culture, help coach engineers on best practices within product and be a leader in the design team.
- WHAT WOULD BE AMAZING, is if you’re design focused too, are a dab hand at Figma and can build your own designs to showcase what you’re envisioning, product managers with a product design background will jump the queue.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:- At least 5+ years experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering incredible customer experiences, special consideration given to startup, Series A-B and Growth stage company experience.
- You've taken ideas from concept through design and development to QA and then release. You're in your element, project managing a product and ensuring release dates and milestones are kept.
- You can make strong decisions without perfect data, you can address tradeoffs and prioritize initiatives, you want pixel perfect experiences, but to stick to timelines - you know how to assess the tradeoffs.
- You are great at communication and presentation and understand the product role is the role of someone that owns the product experience, if you can’t sell it to the team and wider organization, then they can’t sell it to the customers.
- You care about whatever customer you’re working for within product, you’re able to empathize with them, understand them and fight for them, to ensure you solve their problems and provide solutions to issues they didn’t know they had.
- You’re not an engineer, but you think you could be some days. You understand how to work with engineers, ensure that in grooming, the product makes technical sense and you maintain a good relationship with engineers leaving them to work to their strengths defining the deeper technical details.
- Above all else, you’re data driven. If you see the sky is blue, but Amplitude, Mixpanel and GA say it's green, you schedule an eye appointment. You build your hypothesis, have conviction at the product development stage, but you test and validate everything with data.
- You have a passion for commerce, shopping online, and improving people's lives through frictionless experiences (you’ll be asked about your favorite apps and experiences).
- You are a self-starter, meetings are the death of progress, when a meeting is needed, have everything ready and use it to answer questions, otherwise, you’re able to build your own schedule to ensure we hit deadlines.
