Associate Legal Counsel

GiveDirectly is looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to join their growing legal team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and have strong attention to detail. They will primarily focus on contract management and negotiation while also contributing to various legal initiatives.

Skills

JD or LLM in law from a qualified university
Current bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
1-2 years of relevant experience in non-profit law or commercial transactions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

Assist teams with drafting, editing, and negotiating various types of agreements
Work on complex legal documents with different stakeholders
Manage legal processes and timelines with accuracy
Evaluate legal risks and communicate effectively

Education

JD or LLM in law
Current bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
