Givens Communities is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join their culinary team in Black Mountain, NC. They are dedicated to improving the lives of older adults and providing quality dining experiences.

Skills

Experience in food service operations
Knowledge of cooking methods and temperatures
Ability to estimate food quantities accurately
Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles
Grilling and sautéing experience

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the executive chef to review menus and prep lists
Plan cooking schedules to ensure food quality
Cook and present meals for residents and guests
Fulfilling catering orders for events
Improve fine dining experience
