Position:

The Product Manager, Stewardship is responsible for overseeing a suite of solutions that support stewardship and engagement needs of institutional investors, including establishing objectives, workflows and activities, record keeping and reporting, and connecting voting and engagement activities. This role requires a combination of deep knowledge of institutional investor clients and their stewardship needs, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of product enhancements.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Institutional Products within the Product Team.

Location: Amsterdam, Paris, London or Karlsruhe.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and communication of a clear vision and strategy for the Glass Lewis’ stewardship products.
  • Collaborate with customers, and commercial and marketing teams, to understand client needs and market opportunities, and translates these into use cases, key product features, product roadmap and a product backlog.
  • Collaborate with product operations, UX/UI, research/operations and technology teams to build product roadmaps by prioritizing feature enhancements, defining requirements, and delivering releases.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products or major enhancements.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product or enhancement launches, campaigns and market adoption.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, custom needs, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the stewardship products suite and institutional client’s stewardship needs.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in ESG and corporate governance, with experience in stewardship and engagement processes, with institutional investor ESG needs, and in product management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak confidently with clients and communicate product strategy and roadmap effectively across internal departments and stakeholder groups.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects through completion and managing competing interests, including compromising where needed to deliver efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to translate market and client insights into actionable market problems and use cases, product features and requirements.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • A genuine and curious team player who is motivated to understand client needs, deliver compelling solutions, and overcome challenges by working collaborative with other teams.
