Patent Agent/Attorney
Glean, a rapidly growing AI startup, is looking for a Senior Patent Agent/Attorney to shape the patent function in the legal department. The role involves working closely with the engineering and product teams to protect the company's intellectual property.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Registered member of the patent bar
- Experience in patent prosecution
- Experience in AI/ML or SaaS patent applications
Responsibilities
- Taking invention disclosures
- Identifying potentially patentable innovation
- Drafting patent applications
- Responding to office actions
- Maintaining patent docket
- Training inventor community on patent matters
- Fostering a culture of innovation within the company
Education
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
