Global Banking & Markets Public NYMEX Trading Analyst New York

For an Analyst/Associate joining the NYMEX trading desk in New York. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

• Assist the trading desk in daily operational activities like quoting bids and offers, trade bookings, risk management, and PNL reporting
• Accurately maintain fixed price and vol curves for natural gas
• Support the sales desk in pricing and executing transactions
• Maintain and build analytical and fundamental models used for analyzing and understanding the Natural Gas markets
• Assist the desk in performing scenario analyses and back tests related to natural gas calendar spreads in python
• Keeping abreast of fundamental and regulatory changes and analyzing their potential market impact
• Analyzing regional natural gas balances
• Physical gas trading experience preferred, but not required
