Global Events Content Marketing Manager

We are looking for someone who specializes in email, newsletter, and blog marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing email marketing campaigns to promote INBOUND, focusing on creating engaging and compelling content through our email communications, monthly newsletter, and event blogs. You will also be responsible for planning, writing, and editing email content that aligns with the overall goals, objectives, and brand voice.


In this role, you’ll get to:


  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to promote INBOUND, focusing on creating engaging and compelling content.
  • Plan, write, and edit content that aligns with the overall business objectives and brand voice; leverage our blog for content creation and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sponsorship, production, programming, audience development, and other internal teams at HubSpot, to create and execute content and email campaigns that drive conversions and meet business objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and optimize campaigns based on open and click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue metrics.
  • Develop and maintain email marketing calendars, including planning, scheduling, and testing.
  • Manage email list segmentation and targeting to ensure relevant and personalized messaging to different audience segments.
  • Create and manage email templates and design elements such as subject lines, headlines, and calls to action.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize email campaign elements and improve overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain email marketing best practices, including data privacy and compliance.
  • Plan and create newsletters that provide valuable information to subscribers and drive conversions.
  • Write and edit newsletter content that aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that newsletters are aligned with company goals and strategy.
  • Analyze newsletter performance data and use insights to inform future newsletter creation and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars and production schedules for newsletters.
  • Manage the newsletter review and approval process, including working with content contributors and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with our creative team and vendors to create visual elements for newsletters.


We are looking for people who:


  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing and creating content. 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot Marketing Hub, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and data privacy compliance.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Nice to have:


  • Knowledge of CRM tools, such as HubSpot, and experience using them to optimize email strategies and tactics.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and how to streamline email campaigns and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge of design principles and experience using tools like Canva to create visual elements for email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with a team and effectively communicate ideas and strategies to stakeholders.




Cash compensation range: 63000-89000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
