About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Global Director, Operations for a Life Science account. This individual will be responsible for a multi-market operational team; and the integrity of operational processes surrounding sourcing and planning. The DO will provide subject matter expertise and application of optimization strategies, enhancement of overall team process, procedure documentation development & training and compliance achievement. This role will have you leading, collaborating, challenging the status quo, and constantly reaching for the next step with your customer. As the Director of Operations you will

Meet and exceed customer expectations by managing customer service levels, quality and productivity and by providing value added solutions and recommendations.
Identify key areas for efficiency and service excellence across the client operating team
Implement BCD M&E standard operating procedures (SOPs) and development and implement customer specific SOPs
Operational leadership over operations management and planning teams

You’re good at

Solving problems, identifying gaps and finding opportunities to find efficiencies
Leading a best-in-class team
Building strong and trustworthy relationships with customers and internal teams
Understanding Life Science meetings and compliance

You might also have

Regional and global operations experience
A proven track record of initiating change

You should know:

This role is virtual- ideally within driving distance of Chicago, IL

Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM with an hour's break.

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Global Operations Director is between $90,000 and $120,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location and project budget.
