Business Development Manager for a Towing Company

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Virtual Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strategic partnerships for our towing company. This remote position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a proven track record in business development, preferably within the towing or transportation industries. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement business growth strategies to expand market presence.
    • Identify and target new market opportunities, including corporate partnerships, government contracts, and service collaborations.
  2. Client Acquisition and Retention:
    • Generate leads and secure new clients through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  3. Partnership Development:
    • Establish partnerships with auto body shops, insurance companies, car dealerships, and fleet operators.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts and service agreements with partners.
  4. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize service offerings and pricing.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on business goals and client expectations.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and outcomes.
  6. Performance Metrics:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development efforts.
    • Continuously refine strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the towing or transportation industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
