Cloudflare is looking for a global paid media leader who has a proven track record of driving strategy, planning, executing, and scaling paid media programs for high-growth software companies driving a measurable impact on pipeline creation and closed-won revenue. 


Global Paid Media Manager


Cloudflare is seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Paid Media Manager to join our marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid social and programmatic display campaigns to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support pipeline creation and revenue growth. 


This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution of ideal-customer profile (ICP) and account-based marketing (ABM) paid social and programmatic display programs focused on driving pipeline from both our mid-market and enterprise market segments. You will collaborate with your international counterparts and cross-functional campaign and field marketing teams to deliver an industry-leading performance-oriented B2B paid media program.  


The ideal candidate will have a track record of measurable growth using paid media to meet pipeline targets through tactical implementation, strategic know-how and data-driven analysis. This role will work closely with marketing ops and data teams to ensure campaigns are appropriately, measured, executed, and drive results based on funnel metrics, including leads, pipeline, opportunities and closed-won revenue.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for paid social and display performance globally, functioning as the expert and lead on execution and optimization for Cloudflare’s enterprise campaigns
  • Responsible for media planning across all campaign types globally
  • Manage the marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, project brief creation, campaign implementation, ongoing monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting with internal stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day tactic execution of all campaign activities including campaign builds, budgeting, ad copy optimizations, audiences, testing, tracking, and reporting
  • Partner with the program leads to deliver against specific goals for each segment/campaign
  • Own the global approach to audience segmentation, targeting and creation of best-practices
  • Track and analyze paid spend levels, budgets, and campaign ROI making recommendations to budget owners to make adjustments 
  • Own the ad creation process, delivering updates globally and creating an innovative approach to ad creative that helps improve performance; regularly update ad creative across display and social campaigns and analyze the performance of existing creative
  • Work closely with the CRO manager to optimize paid media campaign landing pages
  • Actively own the overall paid social and display budgets, managing against goals and pacing
  • Act as the main point of contact for paid social and display efforts for internal teams any vendor partners (ie LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, Facebook, etc)
  • Spearhead collaboration, facilitate discussions, planning, and project management of all media initiatives with the global campaigns team including ad design, landing pages, etc
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of leads / opps / revenue on a daily basis and ensure the ongoing execution and optimization of all campaigns
  • Define and manage custom segmentation such ICP criteria and account-based list syncing from our ABM platform to multiple 
  • Work internally with marketing ops team to ensure campaigns are connected to our CRM (lead forms) and that leads are being routed appropriately


Required Skills & Experience


  • Minimum 6 years working with performance marketing paid media channels, with a heavy focus on paid social and display in a sales-led or product-led SaaS B2B organization. 
  • Deep experience using the Linkedin Ads platform across multiple campaign types including lead and conversion focused ads across multiple ad types and formats
  • Experience working with ABM platforms 6sense, Demandbase, and/or Metadata a must
  • Experience with paid social channels using B2B paid social targeting options (such as 1st and 3rd-party CRM data) such as Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Quora, and StackOverflow a must
  • Experience working with programmatic & display vendors such as StackAdapt, Display & Video 360 and/or The Trade Desk a strong plus
  • Deep understanding of the mechanics of paid media targeting in a B2B environment including 1st and 3rd-party data, intent data and account lists to drive targeting
  • Experience developing presentation decks to present marketing strategy and performance reviews to internal and external teams.
  • Excellent autonomy to drive planning, project management and prioritization with great attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Experience working within a larger growth and demand generation team across numerous internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze program effectiveness and RO
  • Positive and flexible attitude for working in a fast-paced environment and being able to build strong relationships across various departments and functions. 
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a variety of roles, from executives to campaign managers and sales development teams

Compensation


Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.


  • For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $139,000 - $169,000
  • For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $142,000 - $174,000
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $149,000 - $183,000
