Charlotte Tilbury is looking for a motivated and brilliant socially native leader to support our global social media team from North America creating record-breaking campaigns that support both our regional and global goals.

Charlotte Tilbury inspires incredibly strong natural advocacy from all who interact with the brand and use the products. We want to harness this brand love across social and scale our social channels with world-class content creation and community management, underpinned by data to support the brand’s objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Social, you will be at the heart of the team, in charge of driving brand awareness via relationships with consumers across our 5-million plus follower eco system and leading the charge on harnessing our best work in North America to support our global objectives. This will involve managing and reporting on all social and content initiatives across multiple platforms to drive engagement, conversion, retention, and positive customer behavior with a specific focus on exploding our potential on TikTok.

You must be able to draw on both sides of your brain; demonstrate strong analytics and be able to build innovative creative campaigns. Supported by the Head of Social, you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to create actionable strategies from the data analysis to back-up accountable decisions from creative social briefs, to publishing considerations and community management best practices. Based in a hybrid role between our New York Magic Office and remote work, you will be key in helping maximize the incredible red carpet events and talent partnerships that take place in regions all year long.

This is a pivotal role within the business and the candidate will be expected to work closely with senior stakeholders in supporting the development of each channel and our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Social specific

  • Be part of the ongoing development of the social media strategy for Charlotte Tilbury across multiple platforms and territories including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitter
  • Work with the directors in the Content team to formulate content plans to ensure social media outlets are populated with fresh, interesting, and innovative content
  • Implement and use of social media management and monitoring tools
  • Set up and manage ongoing reporting process to give visibility to content and social metrics
  • Act as the representative for the global social media team in North America, ensuring alignment between the best work in region and global goals
  • Campaign management: ensuring campaigns are fully integrated across the business, meeting objectives, and delivering ROI
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing communications team to maximize branding opportunities
  • Working alongside paid media & SEO team, so knowledge and understanding of these disciplines is preferable

Advocacy specific

  • Work alongside global and North American PR & Advocacy teams to execute plans across numerous advocacy segments
  • Work seamlessly with the PR to activate influencer relationships for the business


Requirements

Key Qualities:

  • Social media native – deep understanding in particular of Instagram
  • Hands-on experienced in proactive Community Management
  • Can derive insight from data and comfortable manipulating and analyzing data
  • Experience in funnel management, conversion, and analytics
  • Experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Process-orientated
  • Experience of working closely with technical teams to assess requirements
  • Excellent team management and communication skills
  • Adept at managing multiple stakeholders
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Have a flexible and professional attitude
  • Have exceptional organizational and prioritizing skills and show great attention to detail and be results-driven
  • Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair – solution-driven!

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Ideally minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within social media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep understanding of social media channel algorithms
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment as part of an in-house or agency team
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • A background in beauty is preferred but not crucial
  • Background in working with a known personality would be ideal
