Job Summary:
The Global Value Stream & Outage Optimization Leader will develop and lead the overall strategy, culture, planning, implementation, & execution of the value stream organization, global sourcing, and region productivity teams across the One Field Services enterprise. The role is also accountable for success of the overall Live Outage program across the applicable installed base fleet, which encompasses value stream management, methods, standards, cost, productivity & sustainment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Align and lead the global value stream organization, including VSLs for projects and across the installed base fleet (F, H, Steam/Gen, etc.), from a development, launch and sustainment perspective

Lead, deliver and industrialize operating KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Cycle Time, Productivity, Cost, etc.) as a part of overall value stream management, in close partnership with region field execution teams.

Lead global sourcing organization to drive successful outcomes across the fleet as an integral part of the Value Streams, including but not limited to compliance, cost and fulfillment efficiency.

Rollup productivity targets for contractual services fleet, and develop YOY improvement plans.

Responsible for the successful development, costing and execution of the Gas Power Live Outage strategy & implementation

Partners with Gas Power senior leadership for thoughtful development of value stream strategy, for field execution across the fleet, including updates to senior leaders to maximize high calorie value stream programs that deliver solid ROI.

See around corners, scenario plan, and stay ahead on long term market trends and dynamics. Ebb and flow with changes to market expectations and development countermeasures to macro level economics.

Owns and monitors the overall program budget for Live Outage across the installed base fleet, partnering with relevant business GM’s (Finance, Tooling, Operations, IT) to ensure proper cost tracking & management

Own the overall Live Outage program cost target by technology class, and manage, track, and deliver on action plans with Region GMs & other Value Stream Leaders.

Participate in different turbine class technology related Obeya Rooms to ensure progress and support issue resolution, and eliminate & mitigate risks.

Oversee total Value Stream Projects org to ensure proper transition from content creation and pilot launch, to actual go live

Support continuous improvement of Kaizens as related to material flow (capital parts), as well as tooling and outage sequencing, when needed for different value stream technology classes.

Own and deliver any content presentation material related to total value stream org, including KPI & TTI measurements, sourcing or productivity targets, leadership status updates and all MoM related to project meetings

Continue to drive clarity in standard work, project SOW and resulting plans communicated via outage turnover packages

Must be able to travel domestic & international

Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
-
English proficiency required
-
Minimum of 15 years of combined experience in a variety of business areas such as operations, quality, lean, field services, engineering, product management, project/program management, or other related fields
-
5 or more years of global or regional senior leadership experience, leading matrix and direct teams of employees
-
5 or more years of experience in the power generation services industry, with steam, gas, wind, and/or generator technology
Desired Characteristics:

Master’s degree or equivalent in related field

Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong knowledge of power generation field operations and services, and awareness of current portfolio of GE power equipment (gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, controls, aero turbines)

Expertise in overall power gen services outage execution and fulfillment end to end, including transactional and contractual services, up to and including safety, quality, delivery, & productivity.

Cross functional experience or expertise in sourcing, quality, EHS, tooling or other functional areas relevant to the scope of the value stream organization

Skills in budgeting, scheduling, and task/cost optimization, through software such as Office/Primavera/Project preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $229,000 to $355,100. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.
