Including delivering excellent customer service to our members while role-modeling the organization's values and culture.Management/Leadership Duties• Manages all staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times.• Hires, trains and supervises front desk team members.• Assists with membership sales and lead generation.• Serves as Liaison with cleaning team daily to ensure proper level of cleanliness maintained at all times including daily management of the cleaning checklists.• Facilitate and monitor company-wide initiatives• Ensure facility is clean and operationally sound & assist in organizing weights and inspecting equipment to ensure it is in working order.• Some cleaning duties required.• Effectively manages the operations of the gym, including managing gym-controllable inventory and assets• Management of member feedback and facilitating resolutions.• Main point of contact for members with account issues, collections, and cancellations.• Responsible for social media accounts, member engagement, and assists with marketing campaigns.• Be an ambassador of your gym by promoting and staying aware of your gym's social media and digital presence• Understands budgeting, inventory, payroll, labor management, and facilities maintenance• Have business acumen that includes an understanding of the competitive landscape and community around the gym• Responsible for all day to day operations of club.Operations Support• Ensures that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiry, Guest Registration, Cash Handling, Replacement of Member ID Card, Delinquent Account Procedures, Account Change requests, travel/guest passes• Communicates with upper management regarding ways to improve front desk operations• Responsible for communicating and following cash management procedures.• Responsible for all normal front desk duties: POS transactions, cleaning, sales, making smoothies, answering phone, assisting members, etc.Job Qualifications• Fitness industry experience preferred but not required• Promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs• Strong customer service orientation with proven results• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence• Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor• Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills• Ability to handle challenging customer issues with patience, tact and professionalism• Excellent training skills• Excellent leadership and management skillsRequirements• Management Experience Required - minimum of a team of 3+ people• Extensive Customer Service Experience• Ability to work entire shifts on feet without sitting• Personal experience with working out in a gym• Full-time only• Some weekends and off hours may be required.• Evenings required• 401k With Employer Match• Medical, Dental, Vision• Paid Time Off• Free All Access Gym Membership• Employee DiscountsCompensation: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearWhat started out in 1965 as a small gym in Venice Beach, California has since become the most well-known and traditional fitness company in the world - - Gold's Gym.
