Internship Description:

Selected internship candidates will function as a team member at one of GOLFTEC’s Training Centers. While working in a GOLFTEC Center, intern responsibilities include greeting students, adjusting schedules, explaining GOLFTEC services to new students, and ensuring the Center’s professional appearance. Interns will handle a variety of questions, and these individuals will be the face of the company when visitors first arrive. Throughout the time with GOLFTEC Interns will also work closely with the PGA Director of Instruction and other Certified Personal Coaches in the Center where they are located. GOLFTEC Interns are part of the team and will take part in a hands-on learning experience that is focused on coaching and club fitting.

GOLFTEC offers internships that are 3, and 6 months in duration. An internship with GOLFTEC will be a strong addition to any golf professional’s resume. Full-time Coaching positions are available at the conclusion of an internship.

The ideal candidate for internship will have a passion for golf and helping others develop their game. A customer-oriented approach as well as a friendly easy-going personality are essential. GOLFTEC Center Internship Highlights and Responsibilities:

• Opportunity to work with award winning coaches and nationally recognized instructors
• Performs weekly mock lessons and club fittings with the PGA Director of Instruction
• Shadow weekly lessons & club fittings given to GOLFTEC Students
• Handle all incoming calls from customers and informs them of all GOLFTEC services offered
• Scheduling & adjusting lessons, practice sessions, and club fitting times
• Greets all visitors and serves as a valuable resource in answering questions
• Follows up with customer requests to assure satisfaction and to solve issues
• Perform daily opening & closing functions for the Training Center, including preparing the GOLFTEC teaching system for use
• Maintains the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology
• Keeps a safe and clean Center by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Full-Time employment opportunities available upon graduation
