Sr. Solution Architect/Engineer – Backend & Infrastructure

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect/Engineer to join our specialized DevOps & Infrastructure team. This role isn’t your typical DevOps position; it’s a unique blend of strategic system architecture, deep technical troubleshooting, and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll ensure our backend platform—consisting of data warehouses, advanced metadata processing, orchestration workflows, and complex data calculations—operates flawlessly at scale.

Your Impact:

• Strategic Leadership: Influence architecture decisions and system design, guiding technical direction to support scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  

• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Proactively identify system bottlenecks and complex issues, driving timely solutions and improvements.
  

• Infrastructure Excellence: Maintain, optimize, and continuously enhance performance of both private and public cloud environments.
  

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Development, and other technical teams to streamline workflows, integrate solutions, and drive innovation.
  

• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information, aligning stakeholders and ensuring timely project delivery.
  

What You Bring:

• Expertise in Linux environments – deep understanding and hands-on experience essential.
  

• Strong Problem-solving Skills – proven track record of diagnosing complex infrastructure challenges swiftly and effectively.
  

• Leadership & Communication – ability to clearly articulate solutions and lead technical conversations across diverse teams.
  

• Cloud Infrastructure Know-how – familiarity with AWS or Azure environments (preferred but not mandatory).
  

• Tech Stack Familiarity – experience with or interest in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Puppet, PostgreSQL, Vertica, MariaDB Galera clusters, Perl, Python, C, Erlang, or Java is beneficial but not mandatory.
