The Business Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all Install partners meet the criteria to be onboarded in the Consumer Finance Division.  This role manages many aspects of partner oversight and due diligence when making credit and onboarding decisions.  

• Underwriting new partner application packages and communicating the outcome to the Business Development team
• Maintaining Underwriting Queue and updating systems of record with documentation and compliance details
• Ad Hoc requests for document reviews, data, backfilling, research, credit pulls, etc.
• Compliance training, meetings, and weekly summary
• Use a variety of data sources, including financial statements, credit reports, and market data, to evaluate the financial health and creditworthiness of applicants.
• Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure all underwriting activities are following regulatory standards and internal policies

• Working knowledge of loan processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of fraud red flags and fraud schemes.
• Working knowledge of compliance, loan processing and/or underwriting experience in the retail lending industry.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory rules, laws, regulations, underwriting guidelines, and statutes relevant to the solar and/or home improvement industry.
• Proficiency in PC-based applications including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the solar and/or home improvement sales industry.
• Minimum 2-4 years of loan processing and/or underwriting.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to credit risk.

Compensation:  $60,000-80,000/ DOE
