The Vice President of Direct-to-Consumer Solutions will play a key role in developing and executing GoodLeap's growth strategies for residential solar, home improvement, and other product offerings. Reporting to the Chief Solutions Officer, this position will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion of our direct consumer products. Key responsibilities include: Crafting data-driven marketing, sales, and operational strategies to optimize customer lifetime value and increase market share; lead cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that scale the direct-to-consumer business; identify opportunities to creatively increase demand and remove barriers to expand access to sustainable home solutions; ensure seamless, positive customer experiences across all touchpoints to promote long-term loyalty; regularly monitor performance and results to refine strategies that maximize outcomes for consumers.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the DTC business, encompassing residential solar, home improvement, and other product lines.
  • Lead all sales and sales management efforts for the group with a goal of leveraging technology to drive sales efficiencies.
  • Set ambitious growth targets, define key performance metrics, and create scalable plans to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
  • Oversee development of processes and technologies to support the D2C business that drive efficiencies, with artificial intelligence playing a key role within the group.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights.
  • Performance Optimization & Analytics:
  • Establish a data-driven approach to track, analyze, and optimize performance across customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth efforts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on investment (ROI).
  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate on strategies to improve business performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: 
  • Lead the development and implementation of customer acquisition strategies across digital and offline channels.
  • Oversee customer retention efforts by optimizing customer experience, loyalty programs, and lifecycle marketing to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with the product, sales, and marketing teams to enhance conversion rates and improve the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: 
  • Build and lead a high-performing growth team.
  • Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to align business goals, ensuring cohesive execution of product launches, campaigns, and market penetration efforts.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for scaling the DTC business.
  • Product Development & Market Expansion: 
  • Work closely with product management to identify and develop new product offerings and innovations for each relevant product.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives by identifying new geographic markets, consumer segments, and partnerships to accelerate growth.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and product innovation.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a growth leadership role within a DTC business, preferably in residential solar, home improvement, or a related sector.
  • Strong strategic mindset with a track record of successfully scaling products and services in a competitive market.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with executive leadership to achieve business goals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decisions and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.


Compensation: $200-$250k DOE
