Android UX Engineer, Wear OS

Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.- 4 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.- Experience with Android UI prototyping or development.- Programming experience in one of the following: Kotlin, Java.Preferred qualifications:- 5 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.- Experience prototyping for devices.- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to be adaptable and proactive.- Demonstrated collaboration skills with other UXers, PM, Engineering.- Strong design process, interaction, and motion design prototyping or implementation skills.- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willingnes to take ownership.At Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
