Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.
  
• Experience in JavaScript (ES6+).

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a technical practitioner in a developer community.
  
• Experience working directly with video advertising technologies.
• Experience with application development on iOS/tvOS.

Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

• Advocate the Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) developer experience that uses Google Ad Manager with Interactive Media Ads (IMA) SDKs and APIs.
• Create developer content such as technical guides, open source code samples, and videos on platforms spanning HTML5, iOS/tvOS, Android, Roku, Cast.
• Contribute input and feedback on products or programs, and represent the interests of partners to internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the onboarding experience for new DAI developer features. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess external developer impact and review/approve public API changes. Proactively walk the external developer journey and integrate feedback into the product ahead of launch.
• Engage with top partners to ensure smooth DAI SDK/API onboarding, and extract insights to enhance developer experience at scale.
