Qualifications: Experience working on large events and projects that require cross-functional collaboration Experience building and executing programs and managing them to scale Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner Ability to maintain attention to detail, be an effective team player, meet project deadlines, and lead efforts across disciplines About the job As a member of the Executive and Internal Communications team, you will be part of a team which produces employee communications and events for Google executives. You will work with members of your internal client team on communications initiatives, projects and programs. You will support the work of the team to create strategic communications campaigns, come up with innovative ways to engage employees that are in tune with Google's culture, write communications, business update presentations and talking points. You will also collaborate with internal partners as needed across functions (PR, Policy, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) and geographies. The Global Business Organization's (GBO) core mission is to help partners and customers grow. The GBO Internal Communications team partners with management to inform, inspire, and engage GBO across countries with stories of purpose, progress, and hope, reinforcing how the teams' and Google's innovation are enabling customer success. You'll help leaders develop and execute strategic/change communications. You'll write compelling messages for leaders, create thoughtful presentations, and find innovative ways to engage employees to build a shared culture. You'll devise creative, non-standard solutions to help leaders effectively communicate vision and strategy to their teams, the wider GBO audience, and industry partners. You'll be a problem-solver and understand complex challenges, break them down, and help leaders communicate using written/verbal forms. You'll support a variety of special projects as needed, including crisis communications, culture initiatives, and programs. You'll develop executive communication strategies with a focus on global messaging, create and maintain channels, and build content. We help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, Communications, Marketing, Product, and beyond. Responsibilities Develop, write, and edit communications for executives, including emails, FAQs, and presentations. Develop and execute creative strategies for communicating to employees, taking into account the needs of different audiences. Plan the frequency and channels of communication and coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the business and the company. Manage internal communications plans, tactics, and outcomes. Interact with and influence executives and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style. Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
