This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Mountain View, CA, USA; Atlanta, GA, USA; Austin, TX, USA; Cambridge, MA, USA; Chicago, IL, USA; Miami, FL, USA; New York, NY, USA; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Seattle, WA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; Washington D.C., DC, USA.Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.• 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, and/or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, and/or Technology industries.• Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.• Experience with partner management and agreement negotiations related to AI/ML products, services, or similar areas.Preferred qualifications:• Experience working with one or more content ecosystems (e.g., Code, Multimodal, etc.).• Experience in technology, business development, or similar.• Experience with AI.• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution.• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, process navigation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.• Passion for technology and emerging/early-stage products, with an interest in science.About The JobThe Research and Core partnerships team drives innovative research and solves fundamental problems in technology at scale through inclusive and sustainable strategic partnerships across Research, Core, Labs, and Google Deep Mind (GDM). This role is part of the GDM extended subteam and will focus on enabling and accelerating GDM's mission by identifying, advising, shaping, negotiating and managing strategic opportunities to partner and collaborate externally.As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll empower and enable Project teams by understanding their mission, identifying partners, initiating relationships, negotiating agreements, and serving as a strategic resource to advance research work and product launches. You’ll be responsible for handling contractual, technical, and financial issues with partners and for influencing and communicating cross-functionally with all levels of management, including executives.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Responsibilities• Drive Global partnerships strategy for specific Large Language Model (LLM) content areas.• Act as cross-product area internal point of contact, for research focused LLM teams, projects, and priorities.• Envision and scope cross-product area value exchange for first of kind agreements.• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders in Google Deep Mind and other Google Product Areas.• Understand third-party ecosystem developments and participate in community engagement, and scope and negotiate third-party data partner agreements.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
