• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in sales or product strategy in traditional or digital advertising.
• Experience in, or understanding of Retail or Travel verticals.
• Experience building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and distinctive problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize initiatives, drive progress, and adapt quickly across multiple workstreams.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate product offerings into sales facing value propositions in line with customer business and marketing objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
About the jobAs the Retail Product Strategy Lead, you will combine an ability to diagnose, structure, and offer options to resolve problems with an unwavering commitment to help deliver those initiatives. This role is tasked with accelerating and defending Large Customer Sales business growth across the region through the development and adoption of products, tools, and program best practices.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
• Lead product strategy development via market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product decisions in partnership with other regional Go-to-Market Teams, Global Product Solutions, and Business Development.
• Partner with Large Customer Sales, gCare, Marketing, and other teams to drive adoption of core solutions including but not limited to: Leading analysis and track metric attainment to update leadership, scaling best practices and lead relevant product and leadership forums, and identifying and removing barriers to streamline media buying and partner with key stakeholders to go after the overall Retail opportunities (Go-to-Market, Large Customer Sales, Business Development, and gTech).
• Support internal leadership meetings (e.g., BFM, Business Reviews, ACMs, and Annual Planning) and external executive engagements (e.g., Retail Advisory Council, GML, etc.) to streamline operations and drive effectiveness.
