Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience working in the Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Experience with Go-to-Market for Consumer Electronics products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Management Consulting.
  • Experience with Quantitative and Qualitative Research.
  • Experience leading operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in product analytics, consumer research and business planning.
  • Experience with SQL.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

Google Pixel Devices showcases the best of Google experiences for our users. We develop new technologies and hardware to make user experiences faster, more powerful, and seamless, including our camera experiences powered by Google including artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The Devices and Services Strategy and Business Operations Team is looking for entrepreneurial minded person with a mix of business expertise, strategy and analytics backgrounds to optimize and scale up Google’s Pixel business. This team is part of the central Platforms and Devices Strategy team, and works closely with the Google Devices leadership team and organization. We are responsible for the Pixel product and business strategy, including our long-range outlook, and leverage insights and analytics in driving profit and loss decisions in partnership with Finance and business counterparts.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Focus deeply on Pixel's ecosystem and growth strategies, Buds and Watch product strategy, long-range planning, and accelerating adoption of our ecosystem devices and services.
  • Structure ambiguous business issues for Pixel’s device leadership and executive team.
  • Gather and analyze large amounts of data and market intelligence and solve problems effectively.
  • Develop compelling, insightful and actionable recommendations to an executive audience.
  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision-making within leadership audiences.
