Data Engineer

We are seeking a BI Engineer to join our Data and AI Service Area. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions to support our client's data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a background in data visualization, reporting, and dashboard development, with expertise in Tableau and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

*Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Tableau, leveraging data from multiple sources, including Snowflake.

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

*Automate the generation and distribution of recurring reports to improve operational efficiency.

*Enhance existing reporting capabilities based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

*Write complex and optimized SQL queries.

*Build Python scripts to extract, transform, and consolidate data from different sources.

*Optimize data models and queries within Snowflake to improve performance and reliability.

*Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the existing infrastructure. 

Required Skills and Experience

*3-5 years of experience as a BI Engineer or Analyst, with a focus on Tableau and Snowflake.

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

*Proven expertise in developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports, including the ability to connect to multiple data sources.

*Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing data models.

*Knowledge of common BI design patterns, data visualization best practices, and reporting automation techniques.

*Familiarity with data transformation languages, tools, and pipelines, such as Python, Airflow, and Kafka.

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

*High level of English proficiency, both verbal and written.

*Ability to present ideas and information effectively to English-speaking stakeholders.

*Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
