React Full-Stack Developer

Gorilla Logic is looking for Senior Node Full-Stack Engineers, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining our future client's web application. Based in Medellin, Colombia, this will be a key role within our client's engineering team, requiring extensive backend and web development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3 and a modern web framework like Vue, React or Angular. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

Technical Requirements

*   Required English Level: Upper intermediate to advanced

*   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

*   3+ years of web development experience

*   1+ years of backend development using Node

*   1+ years of web development experience using React

*   Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery

*   Experience with a modern JavaScript framework like React/Redux, Angular and/or Vue

*   Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX

*   Experience with server-side CSS preprocessors such as LESS and Sass

*   Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies

*   Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

*   Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members

Bonus Skills

*   Experience with server-side scripting frameworks such as Mustache and Handlebars

*   Cloud development experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure and/or Google Cloud

*   Backend development with Java/Spring, .Net/C# and/or Python/Flash/Django

*   Mobile development experience using native and/or hybrid technologies like React Native
