The Government Operations Specialist within the Professional Services Organization (PSO) is responsible for providing business support to the PSO Government team. The Government Operations Specialist is required to be a subject matter expert for internal processes and policies, to include employee account management, onboarding/offboarding, customer-specific requirements, and Government team financial operations.
The role also supports security and compliance leadership though monitoring and ensuring the completion of compliance tasks. This includes coordinating compliance activities, assisting with compliance documentation, and escalating to management as necessary.

A security clearance is not immediately required, but candidates may be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Bachelor’s Degree and approximately 2-3 years or more of experience in a consulting services setting.

Experience working in a client/customer facing role and/or consulting organization.

Track record in process execution.

Strong MS Office skills and SharePoint

Provide business support to the Government team, serving as a subject matter expert on internal processes and policies.
-
Perform Manhattan Government team account administration including provisioning new users, managing roles and access rights, and troubleshooting user access issues.

Coordinate Manhattan Government and contractor employee onboarding/offboarding tasks and internal/external security clearance processes.

Monitor status of compliance and training tasks across the team and environment. Ensure timely completion of these tasks and escalate to management as necessary.

Manage Government furnished equipment by keeping up to date inventory, coordinating with government inventory management resources, shipping/receiving property, and handling compliance requests.

Support Government Team financial operations by reviewing customer invoices, submitting invoices, collating invoice backup per customer requirements, approving expense invoices, and tracking financial status.

Support employee travel for government customers including trip planning, scheduling, documentation, and approval per Government requirements.

Work with the Government Support Team and project teams to manage customer support and onsite schedules.

Monitor employee timekeeping tasks and appropriate time classification.
