We prioritize collaboration, excellence, and professional growth in a supportive environment.Position: Design EngineerLocation: Central FloridaKey Responsibilities:• Collaborate with the design team to create detailed roadway designs that comply with regulations and standards.• Assist in project plans, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for roadway infrastructure.• Select materials and prepare engineering specifications for construction and maintenance projects.• Develop alignment and geometric designs for roads and intersections, emphasizing safety and accessibility.• Obtain permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.• Provide technical support during construction, addressing design issues and overseeing progress.• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to maintain design standards.• Integrate environmental considerations into designs, including stormwater management and impact assessments.• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules effectively.Qualifications:• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (focus on Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical preferred).• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred; EIT candidates considered.• Proficiency in design software (Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).• Familiarity with structural analysis software (STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, etc.).• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and roadway design standards.• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.• Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.Benefits:• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.• 401(k) Plan with profit sharing.• Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.• Major medical, dental, and vision coverage.• Supportive team-oriented work environment.How to Apply: If you’re passionate about engineering and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply!
