We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.Job Description:As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with commercial construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.Responsibilities:• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to discuss and clarify project requirements and specifications.• Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry professionals.• Prepare and present estimates to clients, highlighting key cost components and addressing any questions or concerns.• Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to estimates.• Update and maintain estimating databases and software to ensure accurate and current cost information.• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities to support project execution and delivery.Qualifications:• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and costs.• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Benefits:• Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.• Health, dental, and vision insurance.• 401(k) plan with company match.• Paid time off and holidays.• Professional development opportunities.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and qualifications to [email address].
