Your role will involve identifying client needs, recommending appropriate coverage, and building lasting relationships that drive our business forward.Key Responsibilities:• New Business Development: Generate and pursue leads to acquire new commercial insurance clients, focusing on building long-term relationships.• Client Consultation: Assess and evaluate client insurance needs, recommend tailored coverage solutions, and provide detailed proposals.• Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service.• Risk Assessment: Work with underwriters to evaluate risks and negotiate coverage terms that meet client needs.• Industry Expertise: Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge to provide clients with informed advice and innovative solutions.• Networking: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the community and industry to expand your client base.Qualifications:• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience, with a proven track record in sales and client management.• Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license in Louisiana.• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism.• Sales Acumen: A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.• Independence: Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.• Industry Designations: Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC are highly desirable.• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance software and CRM systems.• Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.Benefits:They offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary with commission potential, a comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, retirement plans), and opportunities for professional development.
